Welcome to Eminent Studies. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before booking any session or enrolling in any programme.
1. Who We Are
Eminent Studies ("we", "us", "our") provides online tutoring, exam preparation, and academic mentorship services. Our registered contact email is hello@eminentstudies.com.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals aged 13 and above. Students under 18 must have parental or guardian consent before enrolling. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements or that a parent or guardian has consented on your behalf.
3. Services
Eminent Studies provides:
- One-on-one online tutoring sessions
- Group cohort intensives with limited seats
- Exam preparation programmes (IB, A-Levels, SAT, IELTS, GMAT, and more)
- University admissions and interview coaching
- Free 15-minute consultation calls
Session delivery is conducted via video conferencing tools. All sessions are subject to tutor availability and scheduling confirmation.
4. Bookings and Payments
4.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation from our team. Submitting a booking form does not guarantee a time slot until confirmed.
4.2 Pricing
Prices are displayed in your local currency where available, otherwise in USD. All prices are subject to change. Rates shown at the time of booking confirmation are honoured for that booking.
4.3 Bundles
Pre-purchased hour bundles never expire and are transferable to another student within the same account. Bundles cannot be resold.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Student cancellation (24h+ notice): Full credit to your account.
- Student cancellation (under 24h notice): Session is forfeited.
- Tutor cancellation: Full credit or rescheduling at no charge.
- Unused bundle hours: Refundable within 30 days of purchase. No questions asked.

6. Code of Conduct
All users agree to:
- Treat tutors and staff with respect at all times
- Not record sessions without explicit written consent from the tutor
- Not share session materials or recordings with third parties
- Not engage in academic dishonesty (e.g., submitting tutor-written work as your own in assessments)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards without refund for any remaining sessions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, curricula, and materials shared during sessions — is owned by or licensed to Eminent Studies. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Eminent Studies provides educational support. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or admissions results. Our liability is limited to the value of services purchased in the 30 days preceding any claim.
We are not responsible for technical disruptions caused by third-party platforms (internet outages, video conferencing failures, etc.). Affected sessions will be rescheduled at no charge.
9. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
